Supply Planning Manager
A leading Food Manufacturer is looking for a Supply Planning Manager who will be responsible for E2E planning across the supply chain with oversight of production scheduling, replenishment, inventory management, and risk management.
This role is on-site in Greenville, SC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement supply planning strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Manage the master production schedule to balance supply and demand, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods.
- Coordinate the replenishment of raw materials and packaging supplies to support uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, operations, and logistics teams to ensure alignment in S&OP processes.
- Utilize data analytics and forecasting tools to enhance planning accuracy and improve supply chain reliability.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production processes.
- Monitor and mitigate risks related to aging inventory and supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, and production scheduling in Food Manufacturing
- 5+ years developing and leading a team
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain planning systems and ERP platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
