Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Support fleet compliance efforts, including maintaining driver qualification files and overseeing drug and alcohol testing.
Assist in warehouse safety compliance and conduct regular safety inspections.
Track and schedule safety training for employees.
Monitor and report on safety-related performance metrics, providing detailed updates to relevant departments.
Manage and maintain safety records and databases.
Ensure proper distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees.
Ensure timely and accurate communication of safety-related information across departments.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
A high school diploma (a degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Sciences is a plus).
At least 3 years of experience in safety-related roles.
Strong computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
