FSQA Manager
We are working with a meal delivery company located in Tennessee (about 1 hour south of Nashville, TN). The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager ensures that the company's food quality and presentation standards are consistently maintained across all production lines. This role also involves developing and implementing policies, strategies, and testing methods to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for company products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance audits, monitor product quality, and engage with retail management as needed.
- Develop new systems and policies to improve quality control and production efficiency.
- Mentor staff and maintain a work environment aligned with company values.
- Implement traceability systems and measures to prevent foreign material contamination.
- Manage product recalls, ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 7+ years in a manufacturing or foodservice QA role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of food technology, manufacturing processes, and safety regulations.
- Experience in USDA/FDA inspections.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., SQF Practitioner, HACCP).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
