Manufacturing Automation Engineer
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading Manufacturing Company who is looking to expand its team with a Manufacturing Automation Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving automation processes and assisting in automation engineering projects.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee software updates for automation equipment.
- Assist in validating control system software.
- Create documentation and specifications for new and existing equipment.
- Execute validation protocols to test and challenge automation processes.
- Understand and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, and write new programs for conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot low voltage control wiring.
- Perform change control for equipment.
- Develop work instructions for operators interfacing with automated equipment.
- Write preventive maintenance instructions for maintenance technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
The Manufacturing Automation Engineer should have the following:
- B.S Engineering (Preferred)
- Experienced editing/modifying PLC programming and troubleshooting
