Procurement Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and efficiency across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Procurement Strategies: Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to meet the company's procurement goals and objectives
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement
- Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation and supplier management
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities to ensure continuity and reliability of supply
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management
