Job Summary: The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role involves managing resources, setting production targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations.
- Production Oversight: Manage production schedules, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety procedures are followed and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet production goals and optimize plant performance.
- Budget Management: Create and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies for continuous improvement in production processes and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production workers.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify areas of waste and overtime, and create reports to present to executives.
- Quality Control: Ensure production output meets quality standards and on-time shipping requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management within the heavy manufacturing sector.
- Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
