Quality Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Engineer with a strong background in failure analysis to join our team in semiconductor manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating product and process failures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to improve yield, reliability, and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth failure analysis on semiconductor components using techniques such as FIB, SEM, EDX, X-ray, and cross-sectioning.
Collaborate with process, product, and reliability engineering teams to identify root causes of yield loss, field returns, and reliability failures.
Lead 8D problem-solving efforts and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Analyze data from production lines, test systems, and reliability studies to spot trends and early signs of systemic issues.
Support customer quality investigations by providing timely and thorough failure analysis reports.
Maintain documentation and reporting of failure analysis processes in compliance with quality and industry standards (e.g., ISO, JEDEC).
Assist in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and manufacturing robustness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in failure analysis within the semiconductor industry.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, failure mechanisms, and analytical tools.
Hands-on experience with lab tools and techniques used in failure diagnostics.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
