Business Development Engagement Manager
Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the K-12 educational sector. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing tailored strategies to meet the unique needs of K-12 educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the K-12 educational sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with school districts, educational administrators, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to understand the needs and challenges of K-12 institutions and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Lead the development and execution of business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project proposals meet client needs and align with company capabilities.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company and generate leads.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the market.
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and progress towards goals.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials for the K-12 sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of the K-12 educational sector and its unique needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
