About the Role: Control System Engineer

We're seeking a Control System Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and continuous enhancement of control systems for end-of-line test equipment used with electro-mechanical products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet rigorous safety, performance, and efficiency standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, analyze, test, and verify control systems for testing equipment

  • Integrate control systems with testing capabilities and run system simulations

  • Develop Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)

  • Conduct initial product acceptance testing and evaluate data to identify and resolve product issues

  • Create and apply statistical analysis methods to detect failure modes and improve test yields

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Solid understanding of control system design methodologies

  • Strong grasp of Statistical Process Controls and related quality assurance techniques

  • Advanced LabView programming experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of control panel design, panel wiring, and field wiring schematics

  • Familiarity with Lean practices (Green Belt certification a plus)

  • Proficiency in electronics troubleshooting down to the component level

  • Experience with analog/digital circuitry and circuit design

  • Skilled in using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment

  • Experience with microcontroller platforms (e.g., Arduino) and PLC ladder logic

  • Understanding of communication protocols such as Serial, SPI, I2C, GPIB, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and TCP/IP
