Engineer - Plant and Project Support
Are you an engineer looking for an opportunity to contribute to large-scale manufacturing projects? We are seeking an Engineer to support plant operations and drive capital projects at a high-volume food production facility. This role involves working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement engineering solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Finance, EHS, and RQI, to enhance plant systems and processes
Design and execute engineering solutions for manufacturing and packaging projects requiring capital investment
Oversee all phases of assigned engineering projects, from planning to implementation
Develop comprehensive Front-End-Loading (FEL) packages to ensure project success
Engage with vendors, contractors, and engineering service providers to procure and install equipment
Ensure projects meet performance, quality, and safety standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Chemical, Packaging (with an equipment focus), or Agricultural Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or packaging system design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Ability to travel up to 25%
