Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities:
Lead capital projects from planning through installation, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met.
Develop and manage short- and long-term capital plans across enterprise locations.
Oversee contractors and coordinate with suppliers to address technical and project-related challenges.
Provide technical guidance for resolving process/packaging deviations and perform data analysis to support decisions.
Collaborate with production teams to improve layouts, investigate process inefficiencies, and implement cost-saving solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert during regulatory inspections and support new product and process launches.
Manage the RFP process, review vendor bids, and create detailed purchase orders for equipment and installation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lean practices, and technology adoption to enhance operations.
Travel up to 50% to support multi-site project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of project engineering experience
OR Associate's Degree with 5+ years of experience and PMP certificationProven experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing or regulated environment
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Visio, Word)
Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, and process validation
Experience with SAP, MES, and Lean manufacturing is highly preferred
OSHA 10hr certification is a plus
