The Quality Assurance Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance plant processes, minimize waste, and optimize costs to ensure products maintain high standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration to foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring the Quality Control team through training and clear direction.
- Communicating quality expectations and evaluating performance relative to objectives.
- Collaborating across departments to integrate quality processes into manufacturing and operations.
- Acting as the primary contact for customer complaints and compliance audits to drive positive results.
- Managing reporting systems for internal and external complaints and leveraging data for strategic improvements.
- Developing and implementing a robust Quality Management System to enhance products and processes.
- Promoting the safety, health, and welfare of all personnel within the Quality Control team.
The Quality Assurance Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, or experience equivalent preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while driving accountability and excellence.
