Senior Associate Customer Quality Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Senior Associate Customer Quality Engineer to manage and resolve quality-related issues for our high-purity chemical products. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Act as the primary liaison between customers and the company's quality team, addressing customer concerns, complaints, and quality inquiries related to high-purity chemical products.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with production and engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions.

  • Quality Assurance Support: Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Collaborate with customers to define and resolve quality-related issues.

  • Product Monitoring: Track and monitor product quality performance, gather feedback, and analyze customer reports to identify trends or recurring issues.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback, quality issues, and best practices to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer complaints, quality investigations, and corrective actions. Prepare and present quality performance reports to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, including ISO, GMP, and customer-specific requirements for high-purity chemical products.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, customer quality engineering, or a related role in high-purity chemical manufacturing or a similar industry.

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and customer service skills.

    • Solid understanding of quality control processes and regulatory requirements.

    • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.

    • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and customers.
