Sr. Procurement Manager
As a Senior Subcontract Procurement Manager, you will manage construction industry subcontracts and services spends for the SCS division. You will act as a key liaison between the Procurement team and internal stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of high visibility and high value programs. This role requires 30-50% travel to job sites, with around 60% of these sites located within 100 miles of Washington DC. Your responsibilities include planning and executing procurement strategies, developing RFPs/RFQs, sourcing and negotiating with vendors, and maintaining the Procurement Plan throughout the project life cycle. Your expertise will help achieve the best value and lowest total cost of acquisition for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise between the Procurement team and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Program/Project teams to manage high visibility and high value programs.
- Plan procurement during the bidding phase and develop comprehensive RFPs/RFQs.
- Source, prequalify, and negotiate with vendors.
- Maintain and monitor the Procurement Plan post-award.
- Track deliveries, report discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Incorporate market conditions into procurement plans.
- Research and develop long-term agreements for product categories.
Required Qualifications:
- Leadership and people skills.
- Bachelor's degree with 10-12 years of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience in sourcing and negotiating contracts with OEMs and subcontractors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with business, finance, and accounting principles.

- Prolonged exposure to computer screens and sitting.
- Dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers.
- Effective listening, speaking, and reading comprehension.
- Problem-solving and understanding speech.
