Continuous Improvement Manager

Position Summary:

A global manufacturer consumer goods is looking to hire a new Continuous Improvement Manager. In this role you will be responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, increasing productivity, and driving cost savings through the deployment of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive the organization towards a culture of continuous improvement.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for:

  • Create and champion facility initiatives that promote continuous improvement, cultural transformation, waste reduction, and cost savings.
  • Provide guidance on Lean Methodology and Continuous Improvement Techniques.
  • Lead and manage various projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and implement changes that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety and quality performance.
  • Partner with the CI Director, Operations manager, and other plant leaders to coordinate and lead initiatives that improve quality, throughput, cost, and profitability.

The Continuous Improvement Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Strong change management skills and applicable knowledge of lean methodologies.
  • Experience in project management, having led successful transformational initiatives where lean was used as the catalyst to drive optimization.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
  • Black Belt certification preferred; however, relevant experience will be considered as an alternative.
