We are seeking a highly skilled Process Control Engineer to join our client in the thriving Chemical Manufacturing sector based in Geneseo, NY. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in designing and programming PLCs and HMIs, and who has substantial experience in batch processing environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces).
- Provide strong troubleshooting solutions across various control systems.
- Develop and implement batch processing techniques within a chemical manufacturing context.
- Lead and support maintenance initiatives to enhance productivity and reliability of processes.
Required Skills:
- PLC & HMI Knowledge: Proficient in designing, programming, and maintaining PLCs and HMIs.
- VFDs Experience: Capable of working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), crucial for controlling motor speed and enhancing process control.
- Troubleshooting: Exceptional problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix issues promptly within control systems.
- Maintenance Initiative: Ability to develop strategies that improve process reliability and efficiency.
Salary:
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience.
