EHS Manager
Job Title: EHS Manager
Location: Suzhou, China
Reports To: EHS & Facility Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the EHS team to develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs.
- Transform the plant safety culture towards an 'Interdependent' phase.
- Identify, eliminate, and reduce EHS risks within the facility.
- Enhance employees' EHS knowledge and skills through training and development programs.
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of EHS work processes and tools.
- Provide timely and effective responses to daily EHS-related activities and inquiries from all departments.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS practices into daily operations.
- Prepare and present EHS performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in EHS management, preferably within the FMCG or cosmetics industry.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven experience in site management and hands-on EHS practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in EHS management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
