Global Distribution Planner
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Distribution Planner to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic distribution plans to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to our client's global customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global distribution strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and production to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Forecast demand and plan procurement to meet business needs.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that arise.
- Analyze and report on distribution performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align distribution plans with overall business objectives.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
- Implement and maintain distribution policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential supply chain disruptions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in global distribution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Distribution Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
