Lead Project Engineer (M/F/D)
Our client is a leading global manufacturer of machinery and systems for pellet production, serving industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, recycling, and renewable energy. With over 140 years of expertise, they specialize in engineering high-quality process equipment and turnkey solutions.
As they expand their fluidized bed technology division, we are seeking a Team Lead (m/f/d) in Project Engineering to oversee the planning, execution, and leadership of complex fluidized bed system projects at their site near Bremen.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design and execution of national and international customer projects.
Oversee the development and design of process engineering systems, particularly fluidized bed systems for production and R&D.
Ensure project quality, cost, and timeline adherence.
Act as the primary customer contact and represent the company externally.
Prepare technical documentation, supplier inquiries, component lists, process flow diagrams, and layout plans.
Process orders in the SAP system.
Support sales teams on complex projects.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the engineering team.
Your Profile:
Degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, food technology, or a related field.
Several years of experience in designing technical systems and process engineering.
Proven leadership experience in a technical or engineering environment.
Experience with pharmaceutical system qualification is a plus.
Fluent in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
Strong analytical skills, independent working style, and adaptability.
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to project execution.
