This role involves maintaining machinery and equipment by performing scheduled maintenance, diagnosing issues, and conducting repairs to reduce downtime. The Maintenance Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Preventive Maintenance & Repairs: Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, and implement measures to prevent failures.
  • Emergency Response & Troubleshooting: Quickly respond to breakdowns, analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
  • Maintenance Planning & Inventory Management: Develop maintenance schedules, manage work orders, and ensure adequate inventory of spare parts.
  • Technical Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, ensure safety compliance, and identify opportunities for safety improvements.

The Maintenance Engineering Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with experience in equipment maintenance, engineering, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLC/HMI programming.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
