Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for senior management.
- Resolve any issues related to procurement, including delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
