A leading global company in the paint and coatings industry is seeking a Project Engineer (m/f/d) to join its team in as soon as possible. Responsibilities
- Ensure health and safety by maintaining safe working practices for employees, visitors, and contractors on site.
- Manage assigned capital projects from planning to execution.
- Support change management and commissioning processes to ensure smooth handovers.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering to enhance production efficiency and safety.
- Provide engineering support for SEVESO/COMAH compliance and safety measures.
- Oversee contractor activities on capital projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate project planning and contractor activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in the proactive management of the CMMS maintenance system.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a chemical production environment (hazardous industry preferred).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience with RAMS/PTW processes.
- Familiarity with CMMS, ATEX/DSEAR, PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, HASAW 1974, SEVESO/COMAH.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts) and processes related to commissioning and change management.
- Strong IT skills, including MS 365, MS Teams, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and a proactive mindset.
- Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player.
- Very good communication skills in German and English.
