We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety throughout our organization.

Job Summary: The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves conducting safety audits, training employees on safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and enforce safety standards and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Lead safety committee meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Prepare and present safety reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, ASP) is a plus.
