Location: Lexington, KY or Greensboro, NC
Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000
Summary:
The client, a leading manufacturer is looking to bring on a Strategic Network & Capacity Planner who will execute strategies to manage product flows, connect demand and supply variability with internal capabilities to meet service and growth targets while minimizing risk and costs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage and communicate the mid-to-long term roadmap for TSI's internal network.
- Make data-driven recommendations to improve network design, considering replenishment, stocking, and production location policies.
- Coordinate and drive successful execution of network improvement initiatives.
- Own medium to long-term finished goods capacity planning for production and procurement.
- Monitor and track capacity utilization against plans, proposing improvements to reduce performance variability.
- Drive initiatives to enhance manufacturing capacity and agility, including recommendations for overtime and staffing.
- Define safety stock settings for finished goods in distribution centers and raw materials in plants based on forecast accuracy, lead times, and service levels.
- Continuously review business performance and incorporate findings into inventory management strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in capacity planning, network optimization, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
