VP of FSQA Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive food safety and quality assurance programs across all facilities, including co-packers.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other relevant regulatory standards for meat, dairy and RTE goods.
- Oversee food safety audits, inspections, and certifications (e.g., SQF, BRC, HACCP) and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
- Collaborate with co-packers to ensure they meet company and regulatory food safety and quality requirements.
VP of FSQA Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in food safety and quality, preferably in the RTE assembly/or meat/bakery/dairy industry.
- Proven experience working with co-packers and managing quality across multiple facilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA) and certification standards (SQF, BRC, HACCP).
