About the Role

As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse operations and ensuring a seamless material flow to support just-in-time production. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a dedicated team, implement Lean methodologies, and drive efficiency across all logistics functions. This position offers the opportunity to shape and enhance warehouse strategies within a high-performance manufacturing environment.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement a warehouse operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between supply chain, logistics, and production teams.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth material flow and supply chain continuity.
  • Optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficient stock control and accurate inventory tracking.
  • Reduce waste and enhance material availability through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Implement best practices for inventory storage, material handling, and space utilization.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure seamless production support.
  • Implement automation and digital solutions to improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team.

The Warehouse Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Hands-on expertise in warehouse process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in German
