Director of Quality
The Director of Quality will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance and quality control functions within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of ISO 9001, AS 9100, or ISO 13485 standards, as well as experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and managing third-party audits related to ISO 9001, CMMI, ISO 27001, and UL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, AS 9100, or ISO 13485 standards.
- Lead and manage the APQP process to ensure product quality from development through production.
- Oversee the CAPA process to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues.
- Manage and coordinate third-party audits related to ISO 9001, CMMI, ISO 27001, and UL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality team.
- Foster a culture of quality and innovation within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with a focus on ISO 9001, AS 9100, or ISO 13485.
- Proven experience with QMS, APQP, and CAPAs.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, CMMI, ISO 27001, and UL audit processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
