Senior Associate Customer Quality Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Associate Customer Quality Engineer to support customer-facing quality initiatives within our high-purity chemical manufacturing operations. This role will act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues, clear communication, and continuous improvement aligned with stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries, audits, and issue resolution.
Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with manufacturing, QA, and technical teams.
Prepare and deliver technical quality reports, 8D responses, and documentation to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Support change control processes, quality agreements, and product qualification efforts.
Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and work cross-functionally to implement improvements.
Maintain documentation in compliance with internal quality systems and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, SEMI, GMP).
Assist in preparing for and supporting customer and regulatory audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in high-purity or specialty chemical manufacturing.
Strong understanding of quality systems, root cause analysis methods, and regulatory compliance.
Experience working with semiconductor or pharmaceutical customers is a plus.
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with ISO standards, SPC, and customer quality portals preferred.
