VP/GM
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a really exciting packaging organization looking for a VP/GM to lead one of their US Business Units.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Sales, Marketing, and Operations, with a primary focus on driving commercial success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both commercial and operational functions, demonstrating a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability for the business unit.
- Sales & Marketing: Oversee all sales and marketing activities, including market analysis, customer relationship management, and brand development.
- Operations Management: Ensure efficient and effective operations, including production, supply chain, and quality control.
- Financial Performance: Manage the P&L for the business unit, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and operations.
- Customer Focus: Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Innovation: Drive innovation in product development and go-to-market strategies to stay ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the packaging or related industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational excellence.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Experience with market analysis, customer relationship management, and brand development.
