Category Manager, Flexible Packaging
One of the worlds leading F&B companies is recruiting a Category Manager, Flexible Packaging to join its team in London.
You will be joining a mature procurement function with over 50+ procurement professionals.
Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you will manage the Flexible Packaging Category (40m Euros) across Europe.
This will be a highly strategic role and you will devise and implement category strategies across your regions, building strong supplier relationships, optimising costs, and mitigating risks.
The business has an entrepreneurial type culture and it will give you the flexibility to be as creative and experimental in your way of working.
As Category Manager you will be responsible for:
* Manage the procurement activities of the Flexible Packaging.
* Deliver productivity targets by supporting the Senior Category Manager in execution of the strategy and future vision.
* Drive sustainable corrugated packaging strategy according to regional responsibilities
* Establish relationship with all suppliers
* Advance and foster close working relationship with key stakeholders
* Deliver the groups objectives in terms of cost, quality, service, and innovation.
* Promote and manage a robust supplier base to secure the Procurement targets for compliance and reporting.
* Implementation of sustainable processes, compliance requirements and category strategy.
