Job Title: Lead Electronics Engineer
Description: A leading Kitchen Appliance Manufacturer is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to oversee the development and support of electronic controls and subsystems for multiple appliance platforms. Responsibilities include managing project lifecycles, coordinating designs, developing test plans and programs, and performing verification and validation tests. The role also involves supplier management, production line test equipment specification, diagnostic tool development, control algorithm implementation, and providing technical support to other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop specifications for electronic controls/subsystems
- Project management from concept to production
- Manage suppliers for electronic components
- Develop test plans for components and subsystems
- Support manufacturing and troubleshooting
- Improve existing designs and explore advanced technologies
- Provide technical support to Industrial Design, Procurement, and Service departments
Requirements:
- BSEE or equivalent
- 5+ years in electronic controls development
- Project management experience
- Appliance design/development experience (preferred)
- Statistical design and hardware design experience (preferred)
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cooperatively with teams
