As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking a Procurement Manager - Hardware and Telco to join their team in Luxembourg and help drive their procurement strategies in these critical areas.

Position Overview:
The Procurement Manager - Hardware and Telco will be responsible for sourcing and managing hardware and telecommunications-related components and services required for manufacturing operations. This role involves strategic supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials that align with production schedules. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that support the company's global manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process for hardware and telecommunications components, including sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the procurement of hardware and telecommunication products, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating the best terms for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, production, IT, and logistics) to meet manufacturing and operational requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, track market trends, and resolve any issues to ensure a smooth supply chain.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and technologies within the hardware and telecommunications sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement regulations, and industry standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on hardware and telecommunications components, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management in hardware and telco sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and driving cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (fluency in additional languages is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement software is highly desirable.
