Controls Technician
Are you an experienced Controls Technician ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on, onsite position supporting a fast-paced production facility.
In this role, you'll lead electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll also play a key role in training team members and managing system upgrades and controls projects.
What You'll Do:
Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment and systems to meet reliability targets
Navigate and program Allen Bradley Software Platforms (RS Logix 5, 500, 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View ME)
Work with PLC networks (DH Plus/Ethernet), IP addressing, firmware updates
Program VFDs, managed network switches, and process control devices
Lead electrical department training across all shifts
Manage and execute upgrades and improvement projects
What You Bring:
2-4 years of experience in industrial PLC programming or related technical background
Strong knowledge of 24 VDC to 480 VAC systems and 4-20 mA circuits
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and safely use diagnostic tools
Familiarity with Allen Bradley controllers and industrial automation systems
Effective communicator with a passion for teaching and team collaboration
