Director of Regional Sales
A leading packaging company is currently seeking a Director of Regional Sales. This role oversees sales strategies, performance, and revenue growth. The successful candidate will lead a team of Sales Managers to execute plans, manage customer relationships, and meet regional targets, in addition to ensuring alignment with company goals, implementing best practices, and promoting a high-performing sales culture.
Responsibilities for the Director of Regional Sales:
  • Lead, mentor, and coach Sales Managers and the Pricing Manager for team success and effective pricing strategies.
  • Oversee recruitment, development, and training of Sales Managers and their teams.
  • Set and exceed regional sales targets, collaborating with other directors for unified strategies.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop capture strategies.
  • Establish goals and performance metrics for Sales Managers.
  • Analyze sales data to adjust strategies and meet demands.
  • Execute regional promotional campaigns.
  • Align regional efforts with national/global strategies.
  • Oversee pricing and report performance to senior leadership.
  • Support CRM system use and expansion.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, participate in trade shows, and network with industry experts to deepen market and technology understanding.
Requirements for the Director of Regional Sales:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5+ years being in the flexible packaging industry.
  • Driver's license required.
  • Sufficient knowledge of flexible packaging markets.
  • CRM software knowledge.
