Company Profile: A leading manufacturer and importer of branded and private label apparel is looking to add a Director of Replenishment & Data Analytics to their team. This person will be focused on using data to drive smarter inventory decisions and a deeper understanding of customer behavior. This position plays a pivotal role in transforming how we forecast demand, optimize inventory flow, and respond to changing shopper preferences. This is a unique opportunity for a data-driven leader who's passionate about turning complex data into actionable insights that enhance both the customer experience and business performance.
The Director of Replenishment & Data Analytics will Be Responsible For the Following:
- Analyze shopper behavior data across digital and in-store channels to uncover insights on purchase patterns, product affinity, regional trends, and customer segmentation
- Build and maintain advanced forecasting and replenishment models that integrate demand signals, customer behavior trends, and seasonality
- Design and automate dashboards and analytics tools in PowerBI to monitor KPIs like conversion, sell-through, WOS, forecast accuracy, and store productivity
- Mine large datasets across POS, supply chain, loyalty, and ecommerce platforms using SQL, Python, and Excel to support strategic decision making
- Drive predictive analytics initiatives to anticipate shifts in consumer demand and optimize inventory positions proactively
The Director of Replenishment & Data Analytics Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in data analytics, consumer insights, or retail strategy, with demonstrated impact in using data to influence inventory, assortment, or demand planning
- Strong experience working with shopper data, clickstream analysis, loyalty data, or behavioral segmentation in retail or e-commerce
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel for data wrangling and model development
- Experience with forecasting techniques and business simulation to support planning and replenishment
- Familiarity with retail systems such as Retail Link, Oracle RPAS, or other ERP/planning platforms is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master's preferred)
This is a full time permanent position that will be on site 5x a week based in Midtown, NYC.
