Global Engineering Manager (M/F/D)
Role Overview:
The Project Engineer is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of packaging capital expenditure (CapEx) projects at a manufacturing site. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with company standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering projects focused on packaging, ensuring business continuity, growth, and sustainability goals.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and cost evaluations.
- Oversee change management for CapEx projects, mitigating risks and impacts.
- Plan and execute mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with plant leadership and maintenance teams to drive operational efficiency improvements.
- Develop project scope, technical requirements, and capital expenditure requests.
- Work with procurement teams on tender processes and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Track project budgets, variances, and potential financial risks.
- Identify and implement value-creating initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Expertise in packaging lines, strong understanding of food safety and GMP standards.
- Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
