Product Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This individual will play a crucial role in driving our product strategy and execution, with a focus on the pet food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics within the pet food industry.
- Utilize various research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, and data analytics, to gather actionable insights.
- Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure product compliance and innovation.
- Data Management:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track product performance and market metrics.
- Use data-driven approaches to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
- Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and successful execution of product initiatives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources effectively.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D, marketing, sales, and operations teams to drive product development and launch activities.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, preferably within the pet food industry
- Proven track record as an individual contributor
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
