Maintenance Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to support the efficient operation of our manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment. As part of our maintenance team, you will ensure minimal downtime and contribute to the continuous improvement of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance issues and improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Work on root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and propose solutions.
- Participate in emergency breakdown situations and provide quick responses to minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-call, weekends, or overtime as needed.
