We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and guide a team in a high-performing manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise & Lead Maintenance Operations: Oversee a team of industrial maintenance professionals, ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation. Provide clear work direction and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime.
Enhance Equipment Reliability: Implement preventative maintenance strategies, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate timely repairs to maintain peak operational performance.
Optimize Workflows & Resources: Monitor inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely reordering and efficient usage.
Hands-On Equipment Maintenance: Oversee and assist with repairs and replacements, including belts, hoses, valves, chains, motors, bearings, and hydraulic components. Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Safety & Compliance Leadership: Set the standard for workplace safety by enforcing protocols, conducting regular inspections, and actively identifying potential hazards.
Process Improvement & Problem-Solving: Analyze plant equipment performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve reliability and reduce costs.
Communication & Team Coordination: Maintain clear and consistent communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or a strong combination of education and hands-on expertise in manufacturing settings.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing maintenance teams in an industrial environment.
Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Willingness and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Comfortable working in hot, cold, noisy, and physically demanding environments, performing tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to effectively manage priorities and ensure smooth operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in wood products or manufacturing environments.
Forklift operation experience is a plus.
