Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanic Manager to lead our team of skilled mechanics at our plant in Missouri. The Mechanic Manager will oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the automotive service technicians and staff.
- Oversee the inspection of vehicles and approve or disapprove repair requests.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints regarding services and charges.
- Monitor inventory levels and order parts and supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote automotive services.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Set and manage the budget for the service department.
- Plan and organize work schedules for the team.
- Train and develop employees, keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies and trends
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical aspects of vehicles.
- Excellent leadership and customer management abilities.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts.
- Experience with automotive management software.
- Understanding of safety and environmental standards.
- Effective communication skills.
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Business Management, or a relevant field
