Mechanical Design Supervisor
DSJ Global is partnered with a transformer and rectifier manufacturer looking to bring on an engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and power supply product design. As a supervisor role the position will also require you to lead a team during design making sure products are finished on time, within budget, to industry standards, and to customer specifications. As the supervisor you will have direct design responsibilities for the products.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of mechanical design aspects of high-power industrial power supplies and rectifiers
- Use Autodesk Inventor 2D and 3D programs during the design, manufacturing, and installation phases
- Solve production floor issues with mechanical design
- Interact with customers and vendors when necessary
- Engage with subject matter experts both internally and externally
- Interpret assembly and fabrication drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Strong background in electro-mechanical design, assembly, and manufacturing
- Experience in supervising
- Minimum 5 years in the same or similar field
- Autodesk Inventor and AutoCad experience
