We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to join our client's dynamic team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planning of our supply chain operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PMO, Procurement, Vendors, 3PL, Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance) to achieve performance targets.
  • Work with KIK plants, suppliers, and procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods at plants and warehouses to meet production schedules and customer demand.
  • Ensure customer demand is met without causing disruptions to production schedules due to raw material shortages.
  • Oversee projects related to production line changes, including discontinuations, product modifications, and new product launches.
  • Conduct safety stock analysis to determine optimal inventory levels.
  • Establish effective communication channels with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, and Vendors to enhance customer service while managing inventory levels.
  • Manage planning and inventory control master data parameters.
  • Analyze inventory data to predict stock-out dates and manage inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Assess and manage the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Handle daily Purchase Orders for components, raw materials, and finished goods, both for production and procurement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP Systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
