Director of Sales

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and building strong relationships with clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies: Create and implement sales plans that align with company goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team: Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team meets and exceeds targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities: Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business growth.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends: Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience: Minimum of 7 years in a Director of Sales or similar role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Communication and negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
  • Industry knowledge: In-depth understanding of metal/machinery/automotive industry and market dynamics.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
