Electrical Engineer
I am working with a leading manufacturer of refrigeration systems and display cases, generating over $100 million in annual revenue. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer for their Ramsey, MN location.
The Electrical Engineer will perform various engineering functions in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include researching, designing, developing, planning, and selecting components for electromechanical and electronic control systems for commercial and industrial refrigeration products. The role involves cross-departmental collaboration and customer interaction to design industry-leading products with the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical control systems, schematics, and panel layouts.
- Specify components for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
- Analyze customer proposals, specifications, and manuals.
- Communicate with sales and customers about product design and performance.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure products meet specifications.
- Develop production documentation and drawings using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Ensure compliance with ETL, UL, and NFPA's NEC standards.
- Provide solutions and support for field service issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience with electrical panel layout, schematic design, ladder logic programming, and system testing.
- Understanding of electrical power distribution and VFDs for motor control.
- Proficiency in Electrical CAD/SolidWorks Electrical.
- Proficient in Windows Office and ERP software.
