I&E Maintenance Mechanic - Permanent Role
Location: West Chester, PA
Join a global leader in chemical manufacturing as an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Maintenance Mechanic at our state-of-the-art facility in West Chester, PA. In this critical role, you'll support plant operations by maintaining and troubleshooting advanced production equipment and control systems, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient manufacturing processes.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and repair production machinery, including pumps, valves, and other industrial equipment.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation such as flow meters and control valves.
- Troubleshoot and support control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Read and interpret complex technical documents, including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and electrical schematics.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
What You'll Need:
- Experience working with pumps, valves, and mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Expertise in calibrating and maintaining instrumentation to precise specifications.
- 5+ years of I&E maintenance experience in manufacturing (chemical industry preferred).
- A safety-first mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Pay: $35-$45/hour (depending on experience)
