We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Site Plant Manager to oversee operations at multiple facilities, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Job Summary: The Multi-Site Plant Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating operations across multiple manufacturing facilities, including international sites in South America. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in plant management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations at multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Coordinate with international teams, particularly in South America, to ensure alignment with global standards and practices.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for all facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead and mentor plant managers and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with corporate management on strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant management, with at least 5 years managing multiple facilities.
- Proven experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- International experience, particularly in South America, is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including ISO 9000 and Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and other manufacturing software.
