Job Description:

  • Senior Plant Manager
  • Eastern Maryland Area

The team is seeking a high-level plant leader to join one of their premiere manufacturing sites. This candidate will have full P&L responsibilities, and use their experienced leadership background to optimize plant efficiency, and drive improvement throughout the manufacturing site.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety policies/protocols.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor the operations strategy to achieve safety, quality, and performance improvement, ensuring manufacturing goals are met.
  • Lead continuous improvement programs to deliver opportunities in cost, quality, food safety, service, and aseptic manufacturing processes.
  • Coach, engage, and train employees in Lean principles, building a culture of recognition and continuous challenge.
  • Utilize data, including OEE, line speed targets, and efficiency/process data, to improve productivity, uptime, and reliability.
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities with other functions and suppliers to optimize production and utilization of resources, machines, and equipment.
  • Assist in developing and executing operational and capital budgets, policies, and procedures.
  • Uphold core values without compromise.

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in aseptic manufacturing, processing, food industry experience in highly preferred.
  • Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Experience leading plant turnarounds / improvements across a facility.
  • Insatiable curiosity and the ability to ask compelling and challenging questions.
  • Results-driven with a strong desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding targets and goals.
