Our clients is urgently looking to add a QA Manager to a team of expert who brings extensive experience in quality management systems, audits, inspections, and customer collaboration, making them a trusted partner in the field.

Their comprehensive approach to quality assurance encompasses everything from initial planning and supplier selection to final inspections and corrective actions. Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System (QMS): Establish, maintain, and serve as the subject matter expert for the FPSG quality management system, including training personnel and managing document control.
- Audits and Evaluations: Plan and conduct internal and external quality program audits, evaluate project codes and standards, and perform supplier audits and evaluations.
- Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to ensure their product quality requirements are met, participate in project quality planning, and manage non-conformance and corrective action systems.
- Inspection and Testing: Establish and implement inspection and test plans, oversee the fabrication process, and ensure quality control procedures are followed.
- Documentation and Training: Write or approve work instructions and procedures, prepare and conduct training for company and customer personnel, and participate in commercial grade dedication activities.
Skills Required:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Associate degree in an applicable discipline with a minimum of 2 years of construction/fabrication experience, or a High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years as a Quality Engineer or Level II/III Quality Inspector.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the nuclear industry, including familiarity with NRC or DOE regulatory requirements.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, understand specifications, and multi-discipline inspection requirements; working knowledge of NQA-1, DOE 414.1D Quality Assurance, welding, NDE inspection, testing, packaging, and labeling requirements.
- Quality Assurance Expertise: Experience with Corrective and Preventive Actions, Non-conformance processes, Document Control, Control of Records, Risk Analysis/FMEA type analysis, and preparing/leading audits and assessments.
- Communication and Professional Skills: Ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the company, suppliers, and customers; work independently with a high degree of autonomy and accountability; prioritize and multi-task across several active projects.
