Quality Engineer
Position: Quality Engineer (Transformers)
Location: Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province
Reporting Line: Quality Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Failure Identification and Root Cause Analysis: Use various data sources, such as field information, test data, and experience, to identify and analyze the causes of product failures.
- Problem Solving and Analysis: Utilize technical expertise to solve complex problems and conduct detailed analysis to understand failure mechanisms and propose corrective actions.
- Defect Analysis Report: Complete defect cause analysis and improvement reports, and continuously track the effectiveness of improvements.
- Daily Work Arrangement and Coordination of IQC/IPQC/OQC Inspectors.
- Development and Timely Update of Process Control Plans and Inspection Work Instructions.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with engineering, R&D, and production departments to implement technical containment and corrective actions. Track the effectiveness of these actions to ensure issues are resolved.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical training related to transformers to the quality team, share expertise and knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
- Other daily tasks assigned by the leadership.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in the transformer manufacturing field, with practical experience in design, manufacturing processes, or quality control preferred.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough failure analysis and root cause investigation.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth and practical understanding of transformers, especially current transformers, including their design, manufacturing processes, and quality verification techniques.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team, sharing technical knowledge and expertise to support collective goals.
- Problem Solving: Proactively solve complex technical issues related to transformer failures.
- Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in English, capable of writing detailed technical reports in both Chinese and English.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiar with IEC standards related to current transformers and transformers, such as IEC 61869-2.
- Manufacturing Processes: Familiar with plastic injection molding processes and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing processes, understanding IPC-A-610 standards.
