HR Manager

Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturer seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to oversee the HR functions at its Kearney plant and prepare for a regional leadership role within 18 months.

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all HR functions at the Kearney plant, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role is designed to develop the individual for a regional HR leadership position within 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all HR functions at the Kearney plant, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Conduct training and development programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with plant management to support operational goals and drive HR strategies.
  • Prepare for a regional HR leadership role by gaining experience in multi-site HR management and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop HR staff.
